Conference of 2021 Policy Research Outcome for Energy Industry

2021년 에너지산업 정책연구 성과발표회On March 25, KEPCO E&C and Korea Energy Economics Institute (KEEI) held the Conference of Policy Research Outcome for Energy Industry.

Attending the presentation included KEPCO E&C CEO Lee Bae-soo, KEEI President Cho Yong-sung, and more than 20 officials from both institutions.

The conference featured presentations and discussions of “Study on reestablishing KEPCO E&C’s role to cope with the changing business environment”, “Study on P2G operation measures from the grid aspect”, and “Study on strategy for diversifying the export business of Korean nuclear power plants” in that order.

Lee Bae-soo praised the significance of the research outcomes and emphasized the need to advance research in the direction of seeking KEPCO E&C’s role and function based on the analysis and forecast of fields in which KEPCO E&C can take the early market lead in the energy transformation era.

He also hoped that future research reflects the role, responsibility, and direction of the domestic power industry and professionals to respond to the government policies, such as Carbon Neutral 2050.

KEPCO E&C plans to detail the strategic directions to a first-class technology company through cooperation with the Energy Economic Research Institute and continue to respond to energy policies, such as Carbon Neutral 2050 and the 9th Master Plan for Power Supply, and the global industrial environment changes.
