Joint workshop of A/E and SD marking the completion of Shin Hanul Units 1,2

On December 26, KEPCO E&C held a joint AE/SD workshop.
The workshop was held to mark the completion of Shin Hanul 1 and share technical issues in each field and application plans for subsequent units. In attendance were about 50 officials headed by the head of the Nuclear Power Division, Park Beom-seo and the head of the Reactor Design and Development Division, Kim Myeong-ro, including AE/SD PM of Shin Hanul units 1 and 2, and key positions in the Nuclear Power Business Division and the Reactor Design and Development Division.
The workshop proceeded with a presentation on the comprehensive design of Shin Hanul 1 and the contents of the nuclear reactor system design service in the main design fields of AE/SD.
After Shin Hanul units 1 and 2 secured contracts for a comprehensive design service in May 2009 and a reactor system design service in July 2009, Shin Hanul 1 construction was completed in December this year.
The company plans to devote its best efforts for the timely completion of Shin Hanul 2, slated to come on line by the end of September 2023.
