KEPCO E&C held a 3D CAD readiness briefing for project members and vendor employees of Shin-Hanul Units 3 and 4 on August 10.

The briefing was attended by more than 50 employees, including Project Director Nam Yoon-ho and employees of EGS.

General Manager Yang Seung-sam presented the development outcomes of the data-based design system and the readiness status and discussed other issues with the attendees.

KEPCO E&C expects the briefing to help improve understanding of applying the data-based design system and build the foundation for the collaboration system for Shin-Hanul Units 3 and 4.

Based on the data-based design system, KEPCO E&C is implementing digital transformation plans such as automated validation of design errors, AI-based design automation, and development of lifecycle plant information models and continuing to communicate closely with business departments to apply them to new nuclear plant projects, including Shin-Hanul Units 3 and 4.
